Recognizing those who go above and beyond
This fall, Kentuckians were given the opportunity to nominate a teacher or staff member who has gone above and beyond to deliver impactful education during challenging times, recognizing them for their exceptional commitment to education. More than 400 nominations were received from communities across Kentucky. A panel of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield associates reviewed and scored these nominations blindly, and selected two award winners from each of five regions: Greater Louisville, Lexington/Central Kentucky, and Eastern, Western and Northern Kentucky. Each of the 10 winners across the state was honored with a special recognition ceremony and a received $2,500 donation from Anthem to their school for classroom supplies or equipment.

We congratulate the following individuals for their recognition as 2021-2022 Anthem Education Excellence Award Winners. Kentuckians extend our sincerest thanks to all educators and school staff members for all that they do for our students
